Skillshare Review: Learning For Creative Professionals


I signed up to Skillshare Because of free trial.

The day BEFORE my trial was designed to end I got an email from them thanking me to Premium.

Naturally, I was confused. It is normal for companies to offer free trials in hopes that you enjoy the item enough to actually cover it. What isn't normal is for your company to LIE for you and charge you daily before the free trial will end, in effect frees you and stealing your money. I was mad.

I looked online and following 30 minutes of digging I found a telephone number for the firm (Red flag, and exactly what legitimate company doesn't have an easily accessible customer service number?) . I called this number and it moved directly to voicemail. The voice on the voicemail sounded like a stoned college child, complete with "ums" and "likes" (Red flag amount two). At this point I was freaking out cause all these experiences were leading me to believe this really was a scam. The only option left to me is to write them an email through their website. This was over 3 months before, and I've yet to find a response.

I am appalled at how that they handle company (by first tricking their clients, then ignoring their concerns). They stole my money without any warning and are currently unreachable.

I went back to their own website and even their advertisement for Premium is really a lie. It clearly says that your Premium accounts is cancelable at anytime. What they really mean is it's possible to cancel it so it will not renew at the next billing cycle (that can be an entire year!!) . They're How I Make $5000+ A Month From Udemy And SkillShare - Rob Cubbon crooks. If their content were any good, I would have happily continued with their services, but all their movies are things I can locate on YouTube or other areas for free. The one thing I am do now is spare others the hassle.

DO NOT register for your free trial. Should you do a bit more research you'll discover a multitude of different reviews like mine.

Proceed to Lynda.com or even YouTube. Please, don't make the same mistake that I did, and keep away!!

I wrote to Skillshare one last time, and it feels like from the previous 4 months they've upped their client support match. I obtained a biased response apologizing to my prior experience and with an offer to refund me all my cash. This gesture has been more than I anticipated, and I am thankful to know that individuals do actually work in this business, and it appears they are listening to the negative reviews and attempting to create a better firm. I have a sour taste in my mouth, but I really feel like once they finished up giving me all my cash back I need to upgrade my review and give them more than one star.
